Vegetable Skewers - Casa M Spice Co

Vegetable Skewers

We love our meats, and while you can’t replace a perfectly cooked steak, we think these vegetable skewers come close. A few words of wisdom for anyone looking to add a few vegetables to your diet, everything’s more fun on a stick, everything tastes better cooked on a grill. These vegetable skewers are no exception. The light herby flavors of Casa M Spice Co® Hooked® Seasoning with rich, savory background flavors from its Chain Reaction® base bring amazing flavor to these vegetable skewers.

We chose squash, zucchini, bell pepper and onion for our skewers, but feel free to experiment with your favorites! Mushrooms, cauliflower, even cherry tomatoes are all great!

As always, from our table to yours... #SpiceConfidently #EssenceOfFlavor #ChemistryInTheKitchen #CasaMSpice

LET’S GET COOKING

  • 1.

Chop the vegetables into large pieces that are similar in size to each other.

  • 2.

Slide the vegetable onto a large metal skewer. A wide, flat skewer will give more surface area for the vegetables to hold onto and make it easier to turn your skewers while they cook.

  • 3.

Lightly coat vegetable skewers with olive oil and heavily dust with Casa M Spice Co® Hooked® Seasoning.

  • 4.

    Heat your grill to medium.

  • 5.

Space out your skewers evenly on the grates of the grill.

  • 6.

Turn skewers every few minutes to allow even cooking of the vegetables.

  • 7.

Remove from the grill when the vegetables start to soften and have nice grill marks on them.
