LEWISVILLE, Texas (November 8, 2021)—Casa M Spice Co., the Dallas-based creator of nationally acclaimed, award-winning spices and rubs, announced today the addition of its newest brand ambassadors: food bloggers Belqui Ortiz-Millili of Belqui’s Twist and Amy Lawrence of Gourmet Done Skinny.
Belqui Ortiz-Millili, based in Mesa, Arizona, discovered a love of cooking for fun and relaxation after leaving her marketing career to stay home to care for her son, who has autism. What began with sharing recipes with friends and family led to a web site and YouTube channel. Today she is a nationally recognized food blogger, television contributor and recipe creator for brands. Influenced by her upbringing between New York City and the Dominican Republic, her recipes are inspired by the flavors of the Caribbean and feature a clever twist on recipes from all over the world. She is a regular guest contributor to “Afternoon Live” on ABC-affiliated KATU-TV in Portland, Oregon, where she appears on the program’s cooking segment.
Amy Lawrence, based in Seattle, Washington, is a former restaurant owner whose Weight Watchers® weight-loss journey and discovery of intuitive eating after a pilates-induced stroke inspired her to chronicle her experiences and develop healthful recipes low in calories but big in flavor. A self-described “Military Brat,” her recipes are inspired by the many places she has lived and the flavors she has experienced around the world.
